a generally positive experience

friendly staff clean room excellent dinner dated bedroom basic breakfast dull atmosphere

the staff was very helpful and friendly. the room was clean and quite comfortable. i enjoyed an excellent dinner in the evening and a plentiful breakfast the next day. the hotel has a beautiful location.

The bedroom felt a bit dated, but i expected that.

fantastic location amazing welcome wonderful breakfast helpful staff

this LOCATION is fantastic. Maisie, the receptionist gave ME an AMAZING welcome. The three-course breakfast IS wonderful, and the staff were very polite. The hotel had thought of everything, the staff were all helpful.

the building dates back to 1516. It FEATURES traditional period furniture and decor. The architecture includes beamed ceilings and tiled fireplaces. Seating is available outside near the road.

my ROOM was huge and super clean. There was loads of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available. I found plenty of towels and hot water. the room was spacious.

the location is central and close to the railway station. It IS situated in the middle for sightseeing and shopping. I was only two minutes walk on the flat into town. the location was superb.

the location offered a real convenience for exploring. parking access was a bonus . the staff offered an attentive service..

The tv offered only freeview channels. A smart tv would have been a welcome addition.

The location provided convenient access with parking available.

The room showed its age and needed attention. Breakfast did not meet expectations. The limited offering was a disappointment. The atmosphere in the bar and breakfast area felt dull, and the place could use some refreshing.

The location suited my needs well. It was near the bus and train station.

My room had issues. The TV was a basic model with only freeview channels. It lacked smart TV functionality. the kitchen was largely out of service..
