fantastic locationamazing welcomewonderful breakfasthelpful staff
this LOCATION is fantastic. Maisie, the receptionist gave ME an AMAZING welcome. The three-course breakfast IS wonderful, and the staff were very polite. The hotel had thought of everything, the staff were all helpful.

the building dates back to 1516. It FEATURES traditional period furniture and decor. The architecture includes beamed ceilings and tiled fireplaces. Seating is available outside near the road.

my ROOM was huge and super clean. There was loads of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available. I found plenty of towels and hot water. the room was spacious.

breakfast offered plenty of choice. I ENJOYED the breakfast, it was cooked perfectly. The staff was attentive and served meals professionally. a wonderful three course breakfast.

the location is central and close to the railway station. It IS situated in the middle for sightseeing and shopping. I was only two minutes walk on the flat into town. the location was superb.

The room showed its age and needed attention. Breakfast did not meet expectations. The limited offering was a disappointment. The atmosphere in the bar and breakfast area felt dull, and the place could use some refreshing.
